Mar 25, 2024 · Ground breaking. I used to love Fleetwood Mac, before Stevie kicked me in the cunt bone. Behind the Mask in 1990 was a good effort, I always liked that album. Lindsey had left, but Rick Vito and Billy Burnette more than acquitted themselves as replacements.

Mar 28, 2020 · I bought all the Fleetwood Mac box sets that were issued in the past five years or so and they are all fantastic. I was able to get Mirage at HMV by redeeming my Pure Points. Mirage, in particular, looks gorgeous in its deluxe LP style packaging. All those box sets are worth getting. Lots of demos and alternate takes.

Mar 14, 2020 · Lindsey Buckingham was a real jerk. I'm reading an interesting new book about the making of Fleetwood Mac's Rumours, written by the record producer. Buckingham is portrayed as very talented but volatile and abusive to his girlfriends. It's gratifying that in the end, Stevie went on to mega-stardom, leaving him in her dust.

You must be old as dust to even remember the FM soap opera. "Rumours" is fantastic and the songs exist outside of any interpersonal drama in the band 45 years ago.

Oct 31, 2020 · R58 Fleetwood Mac had to cut their 1982 tour down to 2 months to fit around Stevie's solo schedule. Her solo career pretty much killed Fleetwood Mac. She should have just left and let them get on. Christine wrote most of the hits anyway and Tango in The Night is basically a Lindsey/Christine project.
