Lady Vols basketball secured a key in-state recruit with the commitment of Lauren Hurst on Monday. The four-star prospect out of Cleveland High School is ranked No. 42 in the 2025 class. The 6-foot-2 wing joins the best high school recruiting class for the Lady Vols since 2017,

The state's top 2025 high school girls basketball prospect will make Rocky Top her next home. As one of the most influential athletes in Cleveland High School history, Lauren Hurst proudly donned Tennessee Lady Volunteers basketball gear as the senior announced her commitment Monday evening live on ESPN's Sports Center Next in front of friends and family gathered to celebrate inside CHS.

Lauren Hurst has committed to Lady Vols basketball, adding a fifth player to Kim Caldwell's 2025 class. Hurst is a four-star prospect from Cleveland.
