Democratic state Attorney General Josh Stein will win North Carolina’s gubernatorial race, CNN projects, defeating Republican Lt. Gov. Mark Robinson, whose campaign struggled as his history of incendiary remarks became public.

Cue the mockery. Stein's win doesn't come as a surprise, given that among other things Robinson, currently the lieutenant governor, had among other things his history of calling himself a "Black Nazi" on a pornography website's message board exposed by CNN.

In one of the most-watched gubernatorial races in the country this year, Josh Stein has been elected the next governor of North Carolina.
