Snapchat is stepping up its parental controls game. The company announced a new feature for its Family Center on Thursday that lets parents get notified when their teens arrive at or leave specific locations.

Snapchat is adding new location tracking abilities to its parental control features. The changes will give parents new visibility into their children’s Snap Map settings and allow them to keep tabs on their whereabouts.

Snapchat has reiterated that location sharing remains off by default and is only available between mutually accepted friends.
