Devara needs a massive 241 crore to claim the 10th spot for the highest-grossing Indian film at the box office in the history of Indian Cinema.

Devara, starring Jr NTR, was released on September 27 and created a record after it was opened with a Rs. 82.5 Cr collection on day 1.

Devara: Part 1 is officially the number two movie at the global box office, beating out Francis Ford Coppola's Megalopolis.

Devara: Part 1 starring Jr NTR, Janhvi Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan is minting good numbers at the box office. The film which had a successful opening made Rs 82.5 crore on day 1 in India in all the languages it was released. In Telugu, it made Rs 73 crore while the Hindi version made Rs 7 crore.

Comscore ranked Devara Part 1 on the second slot on its list of top scoring films worldwide over the weekend ending September 29. The film earned $32.93 million in three days at the ticket windows. Chris Sanders’ epic adventure The Wild Robot stood first on the list with nearly $45 million global collection.

The film has already become the biggest success in the careers of Jr NTR (as a solo hero) and director Koratala Siva, and the stage is set for their reunion in the sequel. It remained the second on worldwide box office charts.
