The Cyclones checked in at No. 8 in the latest USA TODAY Sports Network Coaches Poll, which was released Tuesday. It's the same spot Iowa State was in last week. Iowa State, which is coming off a 1-0 week that included a win over St. Thomas, also stayed at No. 8 in the Associated Press poll, which came out Monday.

The Hoosiers are one of just three remaining unbeaten teams (Oregon and Army) in the country after BYU lost 17-13 to Kansas on Saturday. The Ducks clinched a spot in the Big Ten title game by edging out Wisconsin in a 16-13 win. Indiana was also ranked No. 5 in the most recent College Football Playoff Rankings.
