The Kremlin said on Monday that any U.S. decision to allow Ukraine to fire American missiles deep into Russia would mean it was directly involved in the conflict, which it accused President Joe Biden's administration of escalating.

A representative from Russia’s State Duma warned that the United States risked a provocation to World War Three if it agreed to permit Ukraine to use weapons made in the United States that have the capabilities to strike Russia further inland.

President Joe Biden has for the first time authorized the use of U.S.-supplied long-range missiles by Ukraine to strike inside Russia.
