TORONTO — It was a not-so-special night in The Six. The Bruins were done in by a feeble power play and a faulty penalty kill in their 4-0 loss to the Maple Leafs Tuesday night at Scotiabank Arena. At even strength, the Bruins were competent and competitive.

Jeremy Swayman made 23 saves for the Bruins (6-7-1), who had won two in a row with shutouts (3-0 at the Philadelphia Flyers on Saturday; 2-0 against the Seattle Kraken on Sunday).

The Boston Bruins went ahead and traveled to Toronto and came away with 4-0 defeat. The special teams play was a big part of the loss.
