The Karnataka High Court has granted interim relief to Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman by staying an investigation related to electoral bonds, stemming from allegations of extortion and conspiracy.

This came after the finance minister and a BJP leader were booked for allegedly misusing the now-scrapped scheme to extort private companies.
