Towns along Mexico’s Pacific coast are dealing with torrential rain, flooding and landslides after “zombie” storm John strengthened into a Category 1 hurricane.

Hurricane John ravaged Mexico’s Guerrero State earlier this week before weakening into a tropical storm, but it is once again threatening the country’s Pacific Coast, which has been drenched by the storm’s rains and battered by its winds in recent days and can expect to receive even more,
