In the aftermath of Hurricane Helene, several residents in Colleton County are still without power. Gary Rhode, the director of solid waste for Colleton County, said, "Today we just getting started, we foresee a lot more coming in.

With power still out to some customer, and the county's water provider still struggling with power issues, Beaufort County is trying to put Helene behind it.
