Tomorrow we'll see the premiere of Interior Chinatown, Hulu's new action comedy series starring Jimmy O. Yang as Willis Wu. Inspired by Charles Yus acclaimed novel, the series centers on Wu, a background character in the fictional police procedural Black & White.

"Interior Chinatown," starring Jimmy O. Yang (who plays Willis), is an adaptation of Charles Yu’s satirical novel that jabs at how Asian American men have been treated by Hollywood — and in life — one trope at a time.

In his new Hulu series, Yang plays a waiter who inadvertently becomes central to a crime story. As an Asian American actor, he says he relates to the character's feeling of invisibility.
