The daughter of U.S. Rep. Katherine Clark, D-5th District, was one of several people arrested Saturday during an anti-abortion march in Boston where participants clashed with counter-protesters, according to a published report.

Arrests were made Saturday following an anti-abortion march clashing with abortion activist counter-protesters.

They were charged with acting in an “unlawful, riotous, and tumultuous manner” during an anti-abortion demonstration in Boston, police said.

Boston police officers were seen taking people into custody when a pro-life protest march encountered a group of pro-choice counterprotesters.

The “ Clown March Boston ” went on in an effort to “upstage” the “ Men’s March ” which seeks to abolish abortions. Protesters were seen in the Boston Common where multiple arrests were made, according to WCVB. Barricades were set up around Parkman Bandstand on the Common by the time protesters had arrived.
