Rockets guard Jalen Green has agreed on a three-year contract extension to remain in Houston. Per ESPN’s Shams Charania, the reported deal is worth up to $106 million. The second overall pick in 2021 had until 6 p.m. ET to sign rookie-scale contract extensions.

The Houston Rockets may not end up offering max contract extensions to either Alperen Sengun or Jalen Green before the NBA season begins.

Those young players are Alperen Sengun, Jalen Johnson, Jalen Green, Jalen Suggs, Trey Murphy, Moses Moody and Corey Kispert, and when you throw in the max contracts that Scottie Barnes, Evan Mobley, Franz Wagner and Cade Cunningham already got,
