A motorcyclist is dead after crashing into an unmovable object. His identity was recently released by the Pickens County Coroner’s Office.

According to South Carolina Highway Patrol, the crash occurred on US 123 near Five Forks Road around 8:25 p.m. Officials said a motorcyclist was traveling on the roadway when the motorcycle went off the right side of the road and hit a guardrail.
