Rice University launched a new center to facilitate research exchange in Bengaluru, including in the energy transition and artificial intelligence.

The US-based research university Rice University has announced that it is expanding into India with the opening of Rice Global India in Bengaluru on Monday. By serving as a strategic hub, the new global centre in Bengaluru will enable Rice University to interact with India's top research and academic institutions.

During the ceremony, the team also met with Priyank Kharge, Department of Electronics, IT, Biotechnology and science and Technology, Government of Karnataka
