Former head coach Norv Turner is returning to the team he was with two decades ago. Turner is coming out of retirement and joining the Las Vegas Raiders offensive staff, the team announced Tuesday, Turner will serve as a senior adviser.

They decided to go deep into the well of great offensive minds and bring one out of retirement. Norv Turner, former NFL head coach and Vikings offensive coordinator, will come out of retirement to become an offensive assistant for the Las Vegas Raiders.

Former Raiders coach Norv Turner, who has also been a head coach for two other franchises and an offensive coordinator for seven others, is joining the Raiders in an advisory role for the offense, a source confirmed.
