Martin Truex Jr. has two races left in his NASCAR career and on Sunday he is reunited with an old friend, Martinsville Speedway. Sunday will be Truex Jr.'s 38 th and final appearance at "The Paperclip" and the 2017 NASCAR Cup Series champion is hoping to find the magic that has given him three career Cup series wins at Martinsville.

Martin Truex Jr. earned the pole with a 96.190-mph lap on NASCAR’s shortest track, while playoff contender Denny Hamlin finds himself starting last in the 37-car field due to wrecking his Toyota in practice. Hamlin didn’t get to make a qualifying lap as his crew worked to repair his car.
