Illinois residents head to the polls Tuesday to decide local and national races, which range from US president to state ballot initiatives.

Voters across the state of Illinois have cast their ballots to elect Democrat Kamala Harris or Republican Donald Trump as the next President of the United States. The Associated Press projects that Harris will win the state, securing 19 electoral college votes in the push for 270.

Aside from the presidential election, dozens of key local races are being decided. Missouri will decide on its next governor and several other state offices, a U.S. Senate seat and an abortion rights amendment. In Illinois, voters are weighing in on three congressional district seats and three state ballot questions.
