Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis announced that Florida is sending recovery assistance to North Carolina and Tennessee to help with Hurricane Helene’s impacts in “Operation Blue Ridge.”

We stand by to do more as we have resources that are not being used for our recovery efforts here in the state of Florida,”the governor said about sending help to North Carolina.

The governor said Florida is sending resources such as more than 100 Starlink satellites, three airboats, an aircraft and search and rescue teams.
