According to FOX Weather, the storms and flooding have left multiple people dead, including two poll workers. Election workers were on their way to work at a polling location, when they were swept away by floodwaters in southwest Missouri, according to local news outlet KY3.

Tuesday's election will determine if Democrats' switching of candidates paid off or if former President Donald Trump's appeal is stronger than it was in 2020. Millions of Americans had already cast their ballot by the time Election Day arrived and it's possible the country could see record voter turnout.
