Colleton County Sheriff's Office has announced that their National Night Out event has been cancelled. In a statement posted to X they stated that the cancellation was due to some unforeseen circumstances caused by the impact of Tropical Storm Helene.

With power still out to some customer, and the county's water provider still struggling with power issues, Beaufort County is trying to put Helene behind it.
