We stayed at the Sunset beach hotel and you can walk on the beach in either direction although there is a creek you have to cross by the hotel (or go via the Palm Bay Hotel). Best to walk on the wate… Full review by adamdO5770ZZ

Booked a 7 night holiday at this hotel in a standard room for the 30th March is it worth upgrading? How much does it cost?
A:
For about £120 a week I think The room is a bit bigger and you get tea and coffee making facilities have a great time.

No There is no facilities in the room No hairdryer either But English plugs And the bars and restaurant do offer reasonably priced drinks

Hi There, the currency is the Gambian Dalasi. You can’t get it in the UK so get it when you arrive in The Gambia- don’t get it at the airport because the exchange rate is poor, there are loads of money exchanges, some inside the hotels. Getting around is easy enough by taxi. We stayed in our hotel for food & drinks so prices were about £6 for a beer and wine and breakfast was about £12 for two people. Hope this helps, any other questions then feel free to ask.
