It is a three piece unit comprised of a laser module, a lamp module and a MK23 mount (other mounts exist to use it on a USP, glock, etc. so be sure to get it with the MK23 mount). If you go with the Wilcox, make sure you get the full set.

It also is not sturdy and would benefit from being copied into a computer and machined out of lightweight aluminum or a more durable plastic. It can easily chip and break.

The production model Insight PEQ-14 LAM's are cool, but I still yearn for the iconic look of the Phase 1 Prototype. I'd do just about anything for even just a halfway decent reproduction of one.

WEBFeb 1, 2013 · PEQ-6 is the U.S. Military designation for the Mark 23 LAM. Yes, the PEQ-6 does have the thumbscrew to connect the LAM to the threaded hole at the front of the Mark 23 trigger guard. The LAM-400 and LAM-1400 are the manufacturer's model designations for the Mark 23 LAM; the manufacturer is Insight L3 Systems, which is now Eotech.

I want one, but not for that much without a box and manual. These heads-up threads are contributing to the ridiculous prices.
