WEBSep 26, 2011 · Let it soak about 15 minutes, rinse w/ warm water. Start with 220, 440, then finish with 600 grit sand paper. In between papers I'll use extra fine steel wool to bring back the grain. Stain or dye as desired, using the steel wool again between coats. Then seal with Tung oil, again lightly buff with the steel wool.

I would like to be able to take this gun to rifle classes and be able to make quick hits up close but still be able to have quick and accurate shots out to 300 yards, and slow aimed shots out a bit further.
Anybody using a G3 or HK91 rear sight on your AK?

It was done purely for "cool factor" so they could make cheap AKs look like expensive HKs and the bubbas would come flocking for their AK "entry gun" that looks like an MP5. Attaching a rear sight to the stamped top cover is an idiot move and that is why the Russians never did it.
