WEBMay 7, 2023 · I saw Cure and Pulse for the first time at a Kiyoshi Kurosawa film festival in LA. Watching these movies in a theater is an absolutely unmatched experience. They're the only movies that I've ever watched that left me scared when the movie ended.

Check out Pulse/ Kario (2001) if you have the chance, which is another good Horror movie by Kiyoshi Kurosawa. I'll check it out.

It might be a ghost or it might be something that was already in people. The detective was the next in line for hypnotist due to his metal illness.

My interpretation is that he killed his wife and essentially becomes the “monster”, passing on the desire to kill to the woman who picks up the knife in the last shot.
